Hi

Can anyone identify the maker and possible manufacture time frame, of this cute pink teapot marked USA and L2X on the bottom? It measures 6 3/4 inches to top of knob finial on lid and 9 inches from handle to spout. Maybe Shawnee? Thanks

Mary

Most "pink" items were popular in the 1940's into the early 50's. I don't think this is shawnee at all. I would lean closer to bauer, or possibly Hull.

It's cute!

Thanks Vickie - Shawnee was just a shot because that's what I was finding that was similar. At first I thought...maybe fiesta but ruled that out. It is cute. For some reason when I look at it I think of Mrs. Potts, the teapot character in Beauty and the Beast.
