Hi

I have attached a few photos from the Carlton Ware I collect. I have several pieces and collect the Yellow and green sets as well. I have been able to purchase a large Carlton Ware serving platter I have never seen in any market, Thanks to my Aunty hidden in her cabinet and handed down from my Grandmother. Still in use for special events and with great care.

Hi Sherry

Sorry I only looked at 1/2 your message.

In Australia most of the items are the as you suggested more traditional English china. However there is some interest in Australian made china however it's thicker and more robust I think in keeping with more useful than decorative. I have a coffee set from Australia, Melbourne to be specific it is gold plated and quite ostentatious. I think it’s from the 1930’s. It was given to me as a gift and then I started to see more of the same fetching about $120 to $200 Australian depending on the quality.
