" I come from the UK and have been here in the US for about 15 years. I am currently in the nursing profession and have a keen interest in the history of medicine & nursing.... as well as jewelry!
What is this group about? It's a place to post pictures, ask questions and share items of interest related to the history of the veterinary, medical, dental & psychiatry fields. We may not have all the answers, but we can have fun trying to find it!

Robert Greenspan, M.D. is a practicing physician in Virginia , author of Medicine: Perspectives in History and Art and one of the world's foremost collectors of medical antiques for over twenty five years.He has one of the largest collections in the world and lectures frequently to community groups, physicians, students, collectors etc. Robert is happy to help members learn more about their finds.

Hi. thanks for the invite to this group. Up to now, I've not had time to say hello & show you 2 cabinets I have that I am told were medical or dental cabinets.
The top one has 2 fairly deep drawers and the bottom one has 3 shallower, longer drawers. Anyone know anything about these type of cabinets? I see no manufacturers marks on them
