Marble Collecting

This is a group for the discussion of marbles and marble collecting. My knowledge of marbles is extremely limited, it is a learning process for me the same as the rest of you. I most likely cannot answer your questions, but may be able to point you

I spoke with author Bruce Littlefield today (Garage Sale America). He mentioned to me that on page 90 of his book he introduces Marble expert
Alan Basinet http://marblealan.com/. Alan has a cool site.......thought I would share this information with you . By the way, I have reviewed Garage Sale America in the BOOK NOOK GROUP. http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/group/booknook/forum/topics/garage-sale-america-book

Hi Marlene,
Thank you for your nice comments. I do have more. Would you like to see more? By the way, look closely @ the picture that looks like a paper weight, it is really a very rare single gathered hand made millefiori marble. Extremely hard to find.
Thanks
Glenn

Hi Marlene, I wrote a blog about marbles a few weeks ago; posted some pix too. I don't know how to transfer them to here, but here is the link to get to my blog: http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/profiles/blogs/1813674:BlogPost:28203#comments

I'm not a collector, just an Accumulator. I have lots of marbles, some rare too. ALL OF THEM ARE FOR SALE.

Glenn, I never heard back from you on those 2 German hand-made cane marbles. I assume my price was too high, even though it was 1/3 of what you'd pay at a show.
