hi one if the best sites to check below it is lustreware and each factory had its own mark but there where so many, look through his list and see - found similar cup on ebay
gotheborg.com/marks/index_jap_marks.htm
I am assuming that my grandmother's tea set is lusterware - I was told that it was a gift to her from a former boyfriend back in the mid 1920's. My mother thought he brought it back with him when he was in Japan, but I don't know if that was true. I would like to find out about the mark to figure out where it was made in Japan or so I could know more about where it came from. I have only seen this mark on one other piece that someone has on Ebay they said it was noritake nippon, but I haven't found a site that verifies this. I have also seen two vases on ebay with the same birds on them but couldn't see the mark that the seller photographed very well to know if it was the same as mine. This set has a lot of hand painted gold on it, which I haven't seen on a lot of the other lusterware I've found online. I would appreciate any help with identifying the mark.
See some l ovely Lusterware:http://www.rubylane.com/shop/drury/ilist/,cs=Porcelain:Lusterware.html
Thanks, Carole!
This is a good link to find pottery marks:

I think it looks like a saucer, and cupless saucers aren't that valuable in any case. I've never seen or heard that this pattern is valuable and don't think it would be any more valuable than any other Made in Japan dinnerware.
