Requesting help for “ken” mark on a Japanese plate. After WW II, while living in Kyushu a Japanese friend gave plate to my family approx. 1946. Any suggestions on best way to research this plates history or artist “ken”? It has been suggested that the scene on the plate might be of a castle or a Buddest Temple (note the only blue structure). Any help on how to go about finding references to verify either would be of help too.

The design looks like temples, some with gates in front of them. The mark is not one I am familiar with, but I will speak to another collector about it and let you know what he says.
