but most of the ceramics from 1921 to 1941 are marked either "JAPAN" or "MADE IN JAPAN" . Sometimes all pieces in a set are not backstamped.
Hi the info is from the ebay link, i am not an expert but love japanese/chinese items - my thoughts are in the style of or are art deco, hard to tell as styles have been copied by the chines and japanese and even old markings used on newer pieces, it looks like dragon handles
is it ceramic or laquerware covered pottery as below - let us know ?

The handles are dragons. As far as whether it's ceramic or laquerware, I haven't the slightest idea how to check. I'm very much an amateur in this respect. It's very light, if that makes a difference. I would estimate it at less than 3 pounds.
EDIT: I just weighed the vase and it is 3.8 pounds.
Does anybody have any clue to the monetary value of this vase? Thanks!
