Hi Foilks,

I am new here and have collected some flow blue over the years. Just thought I would drop in.

Happy spring everyone!

I just wanted to share a photo with you.  The Round Top/ Warrenton Antique Weekend is underway in Texas - http://www.antiqueweekend.com/indexmain.html - and I visited the Flow Blue Brothers last Saturday.  It was great to meet them, see the amazing flow blue in their booth, and of course, take home a few treasures.  See for yourself:

- Grindley Florida pattern sugar bowl (no lid, so now I am on a hunt!)

- Villeroy & Boch Dresden Dinner Plate (I love this pattern)

- An unnamed Caulden round meat charger/platter (this will make a great cookie plate for me)

- Two beautiful, polychrome candy dishes by Ridgways

I'm happy and going back next weekend with friends...

@ Bernie,
It's not traditional flow blue and based on the characters is most likely a smudgy blue and white from china and Japan. If it's flow blue, it's new flow blue. Pretty scene.

Thank you for the invite! I did my entire dining room in blue and white - Love the stuff! There is also a very fine website that has a large selection of pieces for sale, out of England I think it is Loversofblueandwhite.com It is a family owned business, and I found nice items, at reasonable prices there.
@ Deb - No, that is not flow blue. That is blue and white - looks Japanese.
