I came across this older post from the Ohio Historical Society. Im sure they have already styled this exhibit, but I thought the summary of items was interesting to look at, so I am sharing this post with you.

The Ohio Historical Society is seeking a variety of materials to furnish a 1950s period home for an upcoming exhibition.

If you have any items on the list below, or other interesting 1950s items, please contact our history curators at collections@ohiohistory.org or (614) 297-2535. Please contact our staff prior to bringing materials to the Ohio History Center in Columbus. This will be a hands-on exhibit, so visitors will be able to touch many items and really get a sense of going back in time. We would prefer items that are in good condition.
