I think it was bought at the worlds fair. Any info would be helpful. Is it worth anything?

Nice looking chocolate set but not too old I think! I am not that knowledgeable with this subject but if it says Hand Painted Japan only on the bottom, and does not have a makers seal or marking in Kanji, then it is not so valuable. Maybe somebody else with more knowledge on ceramics & porcelan with come by to comment! Thanks for joining the group too by the way! Cheers! Swims(Greg)
Unfortunately, my Handpainted Noritake/Nippon sets and bowls have not been selling--I think they are absolutely beautiful. Your's is beautiful ! If it was marked Noritake or Nippon it would be worth alot more ! If it was handed down to you from family--I would just keep it. You can do a search for one similar on e-bay and see what it's going for. I just sold 2 Dragonware teasets last month, but only got around $15.00 for each of them. In the antique center I rent space in-they don't seem to be selling. I have a beautiful Nippon Footed bowl on e-bay now, not a single buyer is watching it.
We need to stir up some new interest in this ole' stuff--the workmanship and handpainting in the older stuff is unbelievable! Carol
