Can anyone help me with information about this antique bell. I am pretty sure it is Japanese. Acquired from Japan in the late 50s or early 60s. I would love to know what is written on it and if it has any significance or meaning. Thanks for your help
1921 was the year the US required items to be marked in English with the country of origin, changing it from Nippon to Japan or made in Japan.
What year did they start putting stickers on ceramics that say "Japan"?
Question...Is it ok to post items that fit in this groups expertise to get info on them? I realize we have a group for that purpose but seems that in a specific focus we might have more luck with info?
