The USAT dishes are top marked with the blue clover mark, like my avatar, with a red stripe next to a blue stripe around the edge. It was made by Syracuse China bottom marked Old Ivory or Econo Rim. The ceramic is off white colored vitreous china. The flatware will be top marked USAT or USATS with the U oriented toward the bowl, tines, or blade, and I've only seen stainless used. On stainless creamers it's marked USAT on the bottom or on the spout. :)

Satu china is a relatively new company (I think). Here are some of their patterns.  Maybe you can find the items you are missing and order directly from them.

I just found U.S. Army Transport stainless steel flatware issued during WW II.  I think the similarity in names has you confused. I believe the dinnerware is by SATU.

Replacements.com doesn't show either company.

Comment by tomsantiquesetcetera on March 12, 2015 at 1:32pm

Mike, I can't see your flatware but the blue clover, IMHO reads SATU, which is a Japanese dinnerware manufacturer.  I can't find anything named USAT.

I'm still looking for USAT marked china and flatware.

Still looking for USAT marked china and flatware. Needing a gravy boat, regular saucer, and a demitasse cup&saucer and whatever. Flatware is top marked USAT and the china is marked like my little photo-blue clover.

Richard, I have a piano stool with round, adjustable seat. Has 4 claw and glass ball feet. Works fine, glass is good, but  finish needs to  be redone. $120. plus shipping. I live in Oregon. Send me an email. My address is in my profile on Members page (near red marble).

Comment by Elaine Sloan on August 25, 2014 at 8:55pm

Richard, I have one but, unfortunately, it's not for sale!  I did see another one not that long ago in an antique shop or consignment shop that I was in recently.  I go to so many that I am drawing a blank currently as to which one.  If I remember, I'll let you know.  What part of the country are you in?
