I have about 200 vintage Steiff up for adoption! If anyone is coming to Brimfield this week (May 11-16 2010, Brimfield MA) stop by and check my critters out! We set up in Hertan's, our starting space is #65 but we may move up to the front of the field later in the week, look for the 2 ez-ups side by side. I've got a few bears, kitties including the FAO Schwarz Kittie family in a basket, dogs, rabbits, and more!

Anyone know values and info on minature Steiff animals probably from the 40's or 50's. Feel like mohair and are 3-4" tall. Thanks for your help.

My sister was a Steiff dealer for many years. Boy did I take advantage of that discount! Of course with buying the new, you had to buy the old as well. I'll have to post some pictures of some of my favorites. I have a life size donkey in my spare bedroom (decorated with antique toys). It came delivered in a tractor trailor in a stall with hay on the floor. So cute - so big! I'll take a picture tomorrow.
