About Your Moderator Ellene Meece

Ellene Meece is an antique/collectible marketer and organizer of people, products and possibilities in this vast world of Collectible Treasures. Her story involves being educated in antiques and collectibles through her mother who owned and operated a large antique and collectible store in Yukon, Oklahoma on Route 66 and then inheriting her inventory of endless antiques and collectibles after her unexpected passing. Ellene was determined to find a positive path forward to share these treasures with others and thus built an online business in 2007 through her website www.grandmastreasuresonline.com where today, hundreds of collectibles have been added continually.

Are you marketing 'wintery' items right now?

Or...are you jumping into Valentine Collectibles?

I love your snowmen Lillian! Try looking on ebay for "vintage blinking bulbs" you may be surprised at the prices of all vintage Christmas lights!

Most of the older Christmas lights were made in USA, Germany and Italy, as a result they are very good quality and last ( forever) as they say!

@Ellene - I'm very happy about this "elf on the shelf" blitz! (Got one for my G-daughter btw. :) It's also starting a new trend in all things Christmas Elves and pixie's and I for one LOVE IT! I've even got the creepy/Spooky looking Celluloid one's from the 30's-40's! Everything old is new again!

This sure brings back memories. The snowman trio originally had noses that blinked (not always in unison). I remember having this in the house as early as the 1960s and has come to have a yellowish patina on it. It still works (with 2 - C batteries), although I had to get a replacement bulb for the center snowman a few years ago, but now that one doesn't blink. I can't find a blinking bulb for it.

I tried to put my Santa postcards on this site a few minutes ago, but couldn't do it. They got to be under my photos. Any way I can transfer them to this group?

Vintage Elves from 1950's-60's"Elf on a Shelf"

I've noticed mischievous elves everywhere this year! Especially on FB. Do you have vintage elves around your shop?

I have this 1930's cast iron lighted christmas tree stand listed for sale in my Esty store, looks like a great stand.
