Inspired by Dianne's Kitsch N Valentine post that featured all the kitchen/foody themes for Valentines Day, I thought of vintage valentines and cookies and vintage cookie jars...how they all go together.
This discussion is dedicated to the COOKIE aspect of vintage valentines along with heart shaped cookie jars, red cookie jars, sweet theme cookie jars, etc.
Bring it on everyone! Cookies! :)
Adorable! I have a question for ya though. A gal named Lisa posted a "Royal Leslie USA" pottery piece on the whadja find group. I can't seem to find anything about it, but all searches land me in the "Royal Haeger" spots, without explanation?
I thought you collected Royal Haeger - is that right? Perhaps you could help her?
Yes, I met Lisa! Thank you for sending her to our pottery group! I wasn't positive about Royal Leslie being Haeger...but I did find a few leads that I shared.
Oh yes...a jumbo gingerbread man vintage valentine! Perfect.
I love how Little Lovables found this idea for real sugar cookies designed after vintage valentines! Impressive.
Here's a Valentine Day party idea combining vintage and cookies!! It's a Cookie-Decorating-Party! Isn't the collage of vintage valentines in an old window frame at the "sweet station" just adorable??
Vintage Children in artwork baking and eating valentine cookies!
"Made by Cooks Club and sold in discount stores in the late 1990s this has been one of the more sought after Valentine jars over the years. It doesn't sell for a lot, but people do like it and would love to add it to their collection." Barbara Crews
Do you have a vintage "foody" valentine or valentine collectible to share? Post here!!!!
