Hi,  My knowledge of glassware is very limited.   Can anyone help me identify this serving plate? It looks like it has rust, so is this ironstone?  Also is that a maker s mark on it or just glaze?  Thank you in advance for any information you can supply.

might be porcelain with gilt design

Thank You Bonnie!

Hi Isabel,

You have an English ironstone flow blue cake/dessert plate with copper lustre accents, c.1830-40. I don't see a maker's mark. It is probably just a flaw in the glaze that occurred during firing.

That's Wonderful,  Thank you so much for your information,   You saved me hours of research!!!   I love it and I have never seen one like it before.   Maybe you can help me with the vase i put on what ya find.  yukyuk
