I would appreciate any help in identifying this Oneida crystal vase. There is an Oneida label on the base that is very faint, so that's the only reason I identified it as Oneida. But I'm not sure the age of it or exactly how to describe it. It looks like cut crystal, but don't know what the pattern is. It's 8" tall & barely tapers toward the top.
I've looked at 100s of Oneida and can't ID it. The label states it is crystal. To be sure tap it lightly with your fingernail or a plastic item; listen for a ting-ting sound. Sure is pretty. www.Replacements.com has a FREE ID service. You might try them.
Thank you, Tom!!
It is Crystal to be sure, and I agree with Tom, that Replacements might be very helpful for you. That Said, I'm thinking your vase is not real old. Perhaps 1990's or early 2000's. The reason that you may be unable to ID it from any "vintage Oneida" patterns, is likely that it wasn't made here, as the older ones were, but quite possibly in Poland, Germany or the Czech/Bohemia regions of Europe.
There was quite a craze for lovely crystal at that time, usually for wedding gifts and to match dinnerware/glassware sets. That might be of some help. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Thank you for the additional info, Vicki!
