Hi Gals! Molly, Your crate is very cool! If I had that in my booth at the antique mall, I'd put about $35-$45 on it! Interestingly, "Vernor's" sells best in MI. I think OH peeps know about it too, but not sure on anyone else.
Bonnie - Very Cool Glass hand! I'll best some vintage jewelry would look amazing displayed on that! Very fun!
I think the crate is great, also...but are people interested in Vernors bottles from this time period? Or the size of them? I live in Michigan, so Vernors is part of the cultural landscape but I am just wondering about the level of interest in these (or similar) bottles.
I also have Stroh's, Goebel, and Faygo from Detroit, if anyone would like a look.
Thank you for the support
A staple in every Michigan household at one time.
Wow, thanks for the recipe Bonnie, it looks amazing!
it is so good and refreshing, slush some out of container in freezer, and add your fav soda
Thank you for the recipe and the tips. I have a couple other crates, as well. Maybe I will post some different kind of bottles.
Cheers!
Well, The $ is in your old crate. Vintage advertising is hot right now, and prices are going up! So in this case, your bottles enhance the crate!
I haven't tried to sell bottles recently, but they usually do sell at our estate sales, if the price is low.
