Found this cutie last week while in town on my weekly grocery run. Paid $1.99. Looks like unmarked Fenton to me, but I personally have never seen this vase from Fenton in black hobnail. No labels or markings. Didn’t find any damage: no chips, no cracks, no nips, no repairs. The three "stripe"marks on the bottom are from the mold; smooth to the touch, not sharp.  Any white spots on the photos is glare from my camera’s flash.  Measures 5 1/2”H, 6 ¼”W (top opening) and 3 ¼”W base. Any assistance as to age and value is greatly appreciated!

Fenton did make some black milk glass hobnail but the only pieces i have seen have been marked I am not sure they had any unmarked

Hi Mary, it certainly could be Fenton, based on those ruffles, but, My hunch is that L.E. Smith also did these cute little rose bowls. Probably if you do an "Image search" on goggle using the title "Fenton/L.E.Smith Black hobnail glass" and see where that leads ya. Please keep us posted, it's a great little vase, regardless, and what an awesome price!

I found it! I found this piece listed in John Walk's "Fenton Special Orders 1940-1980", 2003 edition, page 167. It was made for the A.L. Randall company sometime in the 1950's/1960's.

That is Very Cool! Congrats to you! I'm sure those are quite rare, and as a result the value on this or any other pieces made for that company should hold and/or increase in value over time!
