Ewer with six cordial glasses

When we bought this it was tagged as a 'Cobalt Blue Victorian Decanter with glasses'. Since then we've been told that it is not Victorian but probably Venetian and not a decanter but a Ewer, however we're looking for definitive answers as to how old this Ewer may be and where it possibly was made. The item itself is all hand painted except for the scene. We're not sure how it was put on.

Thanks Laura, we've been trying also to find out if this is a set that was made for the tourist trade or is it an actual antique or close to it.

I think the scenic transfer is for the tourist trade.

I kind of thought that also. But it is pretty and looks nice sitting in the center of one of our cabinets with the cups. Wonder if the 'P' is a signature or just paint smeared on the bottom.

Paula, I really don't think this is something you can buy on the boardwalk, this is hand blown, cobalt blue glass. Can you show me a photo of  what you can buy on the boardwalk?
