I found this in the back yard of the house I bought...I don't even know which is the top or the bottom...it is pretty heavy...guessing wrought iron...anyway it's pretty rusty and old...just don't know what it is...any information would be appreciated :)  It is 26" high...thank you :)  I am assuming that it is used to hang flower pots from???

I would say base is footed legs with ball tips. You hang plants from curved end.

That makes perfect sense :)  Any idea of the age of this?  She left many antique and vintage items behind which I have used, or re-purposed.
