I purchased these two paintings at an estate sale in Texas because I loved the colors & the scenes, but I haven't been able to figure out the artist's name. It looks as though the same artist painted both in 1956. The back of both paintings have the same sticker that says designed and framed exclusively for 4342, by Joske's of Houston. I don't know if they were purchased from Joske's or they may have just been framed by them. Any helpful information will be greatly appreciated!

Update: I found a 50's newspaper ad that Joske's was advertising their framing in, so with that info & what the tag says on the back of my paintings, I am thinking that someone just had those paintings framed at Joske's. That makes me have alot wider scope for an artist! I'm not sure if that's good or bad!!!
