I live in Brevard County, Florida (the Space Coast). I have an estate to liquidate.
I have hundreds of pieces of Depression glass in green, including complete sets of Indiana Tearoom, #610 Pyramid, and Sierra. Lots of kitchen items and curiosities too. It's a collection I've actively worked at for 30 years. I also have a fairly good collection of small Acro Agate pieces.
My husband was a collector of all sorts of things, but his real love was N-scale model railroading. So I have a 20' x 12' outbuilding containing a complete 8-line railroad layout and several hundred cars, engines, and buildings and decor to dispose of.
I am buying an RV to live in and travel. I need to get rid of this stuff. The reputable, trustworthy people I've found that handle that don't want to come to the Space Coast. The ones that I know of that ARE here I don't trust (not that I know so many...). I understand the state of the economy, but better to dispose of it now the way I want to than to have it taken from me down the road because I can't afford to keep it.
Does anyone here know where I could fine someone? I'd really appreciate it.
Have you looked on estatesales.net? You can find companies by area. Also contact Julie Hall at American Society of Estate Liquidators and see if she has a member in that area.
Timesavers Estate Sales
Susan - estatesales.net is the No. 1 "go to" site for estate sale customers (all the "regulars" go there to find their sales)....and also for us companies. It is where many of us post our main ad with all the pictures and we pay to belong as members, depending on our level of use.
I'm pretty sure Charles said he only does million dollar estates....at least that is what he told me.
