I had to do that back in 2004 when my mom pass away she had a lot of stuff she was also a big collector of Disney we still have just 1 more big shed to clear out and see what to keep and what to sell..I rent her house out can not find myself to sell it so I just rent it out..

I am an older mom.  I am trying to clear my house and it is hard.  I know that it is hard for you but you need to move on.  When you finally get rid of something it is a relief to you and I feel that your mom would not want your life to be tied up in her house.  I had to do my 95 year olds stuff and when I finally realized I was going to leave something like that for my children it became easier to toss things.  If I were in your shoes I would sell the house and release myself to enjoy my life - none of us get any younger - you don't want to leave someone else burdened when you go.  I only am writing this in hopes it will help you.  It does help me.
