I've copied what eCrater says about the billing of the marketplace cost below:
If the main marketplace generated sales for you for the past month, an invoice will be generated 15 days after that month ends and you will be notified by email.
As for my last 8 sales:
Store yahoo 3
Store google 1
store pinterest 1
marketplace 3
I don't know what store other is Meryl....because there is one that says Direct and I think also Bing.... Maybe from a site that is not part of what eCrater has set up to post such as 'Scoop it' or something like that. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything works out and I'm ok with it all.
Comment by OutOfTheAttic2u on April 24, 2013 at 9:42am Maybe with their Marketplace cost, our items will get more showing. I like their idea as we rode for free for umpteen years. They are worth their weight in cash :)
The google might be from the google shopping, other might be bing, etc??
Comment by Meryl L Greene on April 24, 2013 at 9:21am Looking forward to the (other) changes. Proud of ecrater for sending individual emails, and not slipping info in their Community page. Things ARE changing.
The last 4 sales I had through ecrater were as follows:
2 Marketplace
1 Store Other
1 Store Google
Any ideas what the last 2 mean...where did they come from, specifically?
Also, the bill that is to arrive. Where and when and how? Why not set up an auto payment through Google wallet or PayPal?
Time will tell if they actually have thought this process out.
The big news from eCrater is that we will now have a 2.9% fee on marketplace generated sales starting May 1st. I'm hoping this results in more sales since this is because eCrater is paying to promote the site as a whole. Other changes will be arriving soon such as new color templates...sounds good & payment options - not sure what that will entail. Have a good day eCraters!!!
Well I think it is official that the 'came from' column is telling us where the sale originates. I had another sale this evening and this time is says, 'store pinterest'.
Well I belong to the one where I post for eCrater sellers (the one you are on Meryl) but that is all that I can think of that is connected to yahoo.
Comment by Meryl L Greene on April 8, 2013 at 2:40pm You do belong to Yahoo Groups, though. Maybe?
I don't have a store with yahoo so I'm thinking it was a yahoo search - just don't understand that it says, "store yahoo" under the 'came from' column.
Comment by Evie-Hourglass on April 8, 2013 at 12:00pm Do you have a store with Yahoo? If you do, that's what the new heading refers to. If not, it must have been a Yahoo search. Either way, kinda cool.
