anyone bought any thing new or unusual lately?

I bought several different lamps but my camera broke so I was told not to buy one as Christmas is coming,

In the 60's in some of the areas we were still using crank phones here in southwest Michigan, and some were still using them as intercoms between the barn and house into the early 70's , then the same phone company was some of the first to offer cell phones in our area,

Improvements to our living styles, inventions, etc. have created these "old style gadgets". I grew up using a dial telephone. My parents used a crank telephone. I still use a touch-tone, my kids use cell phones. This one industry has created millions of "old style gadgets". Basic TVs are now becoming extinct. Life goes on and the eclectics increase!

some of the old items were tried to multi function also, their still is lots of little gadgets out there to purchase, if you think not go to a specialty cookware or spice merchant, and if you are a cooking junkie you are in heven

Very cool! You know they just use to have so many different pieces for doing things that we just don't use anymore, I think. I find pieces that have no comparable modern equivalent. There are plenty of gadgets still, but not with the style there used to be. And I think we all try to find things that serve multiple purposes now as opposed to some of the older things. Well, outside of the stuff that Billy Mays wants to sell us, anyway!

Colleen, no it is wall mounted, so I think it is coffee or flour, looks like about a 1/4 cup at a time dispense. has a screw on lid. it is 6" dia and 10 " tall, kind of like the size of a coffee can.
