As eBay has continued to raise fees and sellers have encountered a myriad of issues with the site, I am asking for the opinion of others about sites that offer an alternative to eBay. Also, could you could please share why you like the site and what has been your level of success with that site. How much marketing do you have to do outside that site to drive traffic to your listings? For all those who share thank you for your input.
Chairish though they're 20% and less >$2k. I've had only questions on Etsy but haven't tried them in 5 years. I find it takes trial/error to find the appropriate site for the appropriate item.
And I'm often stuck in the 'cheaper' sites as I sell mainly on one of the more costly sites so raise prices accordingly and cannot lower them on the more 'bargain' sites.
What's the issues with ebay? I find they're better than ever in the 18 years I've been on there.
My issue stems from the fact that ebay is reducing the top rated plus discount from 10% to 20%. I am exploring other avenues to sell and am asking for input from other sellers on sites they sell on and the level of success they've experienced. Some sites require a lot of effort to drive traffic to listings.
Chairish rose 350% last year in sales while Kings Ln has stumbled under new ownership of Bed Bath & beyond. And OKL takes 35% of the sold item.
