I have this secretary desk that is antique, but I do not know when and where it is from. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Toni, I think your secretary was meant to resemble furniture from the "Baltic's" -  Here is a Wiki page of info on where those places are located. But, usually Poland was also included in the group.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltic_states

It would seem that it resembles "Folk Art" - hand made and decorated furniture from those areas, but I think it was made in the USA. I would guess early 1940's for a time line.

The label states ___ _____ America, so this suggests it is an American made piece, not from the Baltic. The language would also be different if it were, of course.

Thanks very much. It is funny when I google Baltic Ensemble or FCA I don't find anything.I can't find another piece like it.  Would you call the style folk art? Thanks
