Hi, Vicki ~ Hocking made this and it's common in transparent green. This is opal, white (milk) glass with the blue fired-on. This is a refrigerator dish and the design is such that the handle is recessed to allow stacking. That being said, it also allowed one to easily lose their grip, so it wasn't such a great idea. Jim and I have never, ever seen this piece before.
It's Darling! Who is the maker? Is it a "fridgie" or a casserole?
I need to see the finial pattern; please take pic of it looking down and closer. NO FLASH.
Also, what is diameter of cover?
Here's the butter dish cover....I dropped the lower dish portion over the holidays...
P.S. Wife hasn't noticed yet...lol
