I Antique Online

A Community For People Who Buy, Sell or Collect Antiques, Collectibles and Art

One is a red round jar with flowers. I remember this one as a child, so my parents must have started housekeeping with it back in the early 1950s. About 20 years ago I saw one very similar to this at an antique emporium in Vermont for $85. My mother just about had a heart attack when I pointed it out to her. She came home and put ours up in the attic. The other came from Grandma's estate. Doing some research, I found this is called "Miss Priss" and there was a whole line of kitchen items made in this pattern including a teapot and salt & pepper shakers.
