I bought this Hull Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar at an auction recently. It has a very nice decal pattern of small flowers all around the bottom of the skirt and gold stars and scalloped gold decoration on the apron. She also has more gold painting above the apron around her neckline. She has no damage at all and from my research is one of the more rare varieties due to all the extra decoration. I'd like $500 for her but I am open to offers and suggestions. With the market changing so much and so quickly I want to sell at the right price, I'm just not sure what that is without sending this to a specialty auction to let the market decide.

Also pictured is the Salt Shaker Little Red Riding Hood, also with gold decoration but with a different flower decal and the closed basket design. I am asking $125 or best offer for her.

I have several other Cookie Jars I am selling for my Grandfather (who used to have an antique shop that just got boxed up when he retired 10 years ago). I will also list them here and forgive me/help me if you think my prices are off.

your prices are way too high. if you look on ebay you can find the same exact ones and see what they are going for.
Hi all, have 2 jars. I duck missing much paint with no markings that I can find. Late 40-s maybe, was in use from 50 on. 2cond bear vg condition, marked USA on rump. Possible W mark inside head. any info on ages or makers would be appreciated. make offer with explanation & I'll respond. Thank you for your time & trouble, Todd

your bear jar is made by american bisque and the duck jar is made by hull. with the economy the way it is you really can't get what they are worth. if you put them on ebay you would probably get about 40 to 50 for the bear and maybe 20 for the duck.
Thanks for the mfr's on the cookie jars, it's a good place to start to educate myself, only the 2 though-I seem to have a accumilated lots of 1 or 2 of stuff.
Again, thanks for your time & effort & quick post.
Todd
