For centuries it’s been man v. beast and the creation of decoys has certainly given those of us who try a bit of an edge against waterfowl. If you hunt or collect, here’s a group for those of us into duckin’ and goosin’.

Just picked up this tiny little pair of bluebills. They are pictured in the Minnesota Decoy carvers book as unknown carver. They are great, strong Illinois river influence. Almost could be Fred Allen birds. What do you guys think?

I have several decoy ducks but don't know much about them. Looking forward to learning.

I don't collect them but I did sell some and didn't know what they were, hopefully I will learn here for future use.

Welcome to a great place for waterfowlers! I am looking for Herter's coot heads. Let me know if you have any! Hope to swap stories, birds, whatever! Jim
