A Note from Your Moderator Barbara E, Mauzy

Calling all lovers and collectors of vintage glassware: join our PYREX discussion, share your expertise, ask your questions, and post your pictures! As the author of the only PYREX book in print I will offer assistance and share my enthusiasm for this vintage glassware that goes from the freezer to the oven. Go green with vintage glass and have fun along the way! PYREX The Unauthorized Collectors’ Guide is in its fourth edition and I have networked for and am working on the fifth edition which will add PYREX Restaurantware. Don’t miss my other eighteen titles!

Dianne ~ thanks! The odd part is that I was thinking about Bruce Waters all day yesterday and decided that I would call him today.

How uncanny that I would post your book today. I of course had no idea of this loss. May I extend my prayers and condolescences to his friends and loved ones.

Sadly, the man who created that cover and most of the covers for all of my many books, just passed away today.

I was thinking about those handy PYREX custards and all the wasy we all utilize them. So I am throwing this out to the group: who can share the most unusual thing you've used a custard cup for. I will start: I stack nests of bowls by placing a custard inside of each bowl. I even do this when taking pictures for books. Next...?
