Has anyone ever seen one of these? It is marked #516 on the bottom so is 2 cups -- and had the PYREX® in caps and made in USA so I know it is vintage -- but there is not a single red mark or etched mark on it. Just wondered if it is a fluke. I have searched online but have not found anything about it but may not be using the correct terms in the search.

How about a pic?
I will try to get one posted tomorrow -- but is exactly like this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-PYREX-516-MEASURING-CUP-RED-LETTERI...
except not a mark on it for measuring -- D-handle, etc.
Not sure if anyone is following this but I had this cup at the antique mall the other day and showed it to one of the guys who works there and has a booth full of old 50's Pyrex and such. He told me the marks have WASHED OFF -- he said that happened when people put them in the dishwasher! Now, I have a couple of older pieces of Pyrex and I have always put them in the dishwasher and I think they are still marked fine. But, you know, I'll bet I don't use one nearly as many times as a house wife did -- my mom cooked 2-3 meals a day, everyday and made cakes and pies etc. We got a dishwasher around 1970, I guess. Anyway -- interesting -- but devalues my "measuring" cup... might do some of my artwork on it instead!
