A Note from Your Moderator Barbara E, Mauzy

Calling all lovers and collectors of vintage glassware: join our PYREX discussion, share your expertise, ask your questions, and post your pictures! As the author of the only PYREX book in print I will offer assistance and share my enthusiasm for this vintage glassware that goes from the freezer to the oven. Go green with vintage glass and have fun along the way! PYREX The Unauthorized Collectors’ Guide is in its fourth edition and I have networked for and am working on the fifth edition which will add PYREX Restaurantware. Don’t miss my other eighteen titles!

vicki, I have 1 set of those rainbow bowls except it is in my kitchen cabinet, with a set of stainless steel mixing bowls mixed into the set and they are what I use to cook and bake with.

wonderful - I love the blue pieces! BTW- do you happen to have any of the 50's "Rainbow" bowls? I had the full set - and had been using them, that is until my son broke the large mixing bowl that was red, then my G-daughter broke the med. size one that was yellow - ugg! Let me know if you have them for sale.
