A nice early etching from the late 1800s to early 1900s entitled 'La Sainte Chapelle' by Charles Pinet.  This piece is currently for sale at the Vintage Touch ONLINE store at: http://deannamoyers.ecrater.com/p/14188238/etching-la-sainte-chapel...

John L.

Did you misspell the artist's name on purpose? You hold back info and mislead us on purpose I believe.

His name is Renee, not Renie...

Bouquet de Wymelle is a print done in 1986.

This information is found in Google. You are not doing any research on your own.

That abstract you posted (that was removed) is a fake. It is dated Alan '42 (1942) however the boxer's gloves are circa 1980s style.  In 1942 boxing gloves were not padded.  Your friend paid $400.  I note the top of the oil is badly damaged, torn. Why didn't you mention this when you posted it?  The painting can be repaired but I suspect a portion of the top will be removed.  Might be easier to put a mat over it. In case you don't know what I'm talking about I'll repost it along with a pic of the signature which you failed to post the first time.

Lillian that mat looks like it is a thin paper mat handmade by all probability. To have a mat custom made will cost you but pre-cut mats in common sizes aren't very expensive and if you are trying to sell your picture will add to its appeal.
