I was not a collector of Bakelite until I started photographing Bakelite in the Kitchen. After snapping the shutter I found myself grabbing piece after piece to keep, which is a serious issue when I’m supposed to be a dealer. Today I am equally a collector and a dealer and I can’t wait to see what’s out there in private collections. There simply isn’t anything more colorful for the table and if you want to recreate that retro look, Bakelite must be on your table..

That knive was fabulous! Was it made to match the depression glass pattern "Chevron"?

Also - how are you folks doing? Are things going well for you and your home now?

I want to place an order for your pyrex and penut butter glass books - I don't yet have them. Should I just contact you or go to a website? Thanks. Hope things are going well for you. :)

Take a look: blue and white chevron steak knife that Jim has restored. This is gorgeous!
