Hi all, my mum's ahead this one for years-one of her favorites. A cleaning gal broke it and repaired it without even mentioning (as pictured).

Question is, this is supposedly a contemporary of Meissen with a mark of a crown and crossed 'C's, Pauliner or some such? Any one familiar with it?

Hi, House of Charm Antiques Southinc.

What a lovely figure! It's a pity that the cleaning gal has broken it.

On my opinion the mark on the bottom corresponds to "Ludwigsburg or Kronenburg" porcelain manufactory, active between 1758 and 1824, and again after 1947. But your figurine would be from the first period.

On this link you can find some information about the manufactory and his marks:

Here are some other links whith XVIIIth century Ludwigsburg figures for sale to give you an idea of the value of yours.

Awesome find, thanks loads, David. I had an auctioneer/dealer refused it at 295 being too low(rare for an auctioneer but she's a cert appraiser also) and said she would pay 500+ and retail it for 900 as is. Will get in touch with her.
