I had forgotten all about these until I found them in a desk drawer. I also have the whole Simpson family (not shown) still in their original wrappers with the candy. There aren't antiques, but some…Continue

Mom wanted me to go through a box of my childhood mementos and decide what to keep and what to get rid of or she was going to chuck it all out. Found an old $20.00 in this piggy bank {probably birthday money from grandma} but is this old Batman Bank worth anything, also have Spiderman {unfortunately had no money inside}-- Was from 1974--
1947 Dudley Fisher "Myrtle" from Sunday comic "Right Around Home" available HERE
This plush Gumby doll is 12" tall and made by the Ace Novelty Co. Gumby was one of the early characters of stop-motion animation in the 1950s. He has a resurgence in popularity in the late 1980s when he resurfaced with new adventures and a retinue of new friends and even fronted a garage band called "The Gumbys" - what else?. I believe this toy was marketed during the revival.
wow those are cool
lol letting my age slip, such great characters
Thanks

I came across these and remember getting them one Christmas in the early 1960s. They are Hanna Barbara cartoon characters that were popular at that time and were made by TinyKins. There are 32, the tallest being Quick Draw McGraw at 1 3/4" and the shortest is Pixie the mouse at 3/4" . Apparently there were 34 in the original set as evidenced by this blog:

I am missing Wilma Flintstone and Dixie the mouse, not surprising since I played with these guys a lot. The set in the link sold for well over $100, but it was a complete set. Just sharing for those that remember these characters. Pictured are just a few form my set.
