Also, do you know of any books with information on antique/vintage crochet hooks and/or thread holders/spool-knaves?  I think I have some general needlework collectibles books with a little bit, but nothing with any depth.

Hello again, I am looking for something very specific.  I mean miniature aprons sewn on the advertised sewing machine and advertising that sewing machine.  See the mini-aprons pictured in my album:  http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/photo/albums/sewing-machine-stitchery.  I want any information on them that I can find, identification, history, prices, anything...  My problem is, other than the article I wrote, I suspect little or none has been written on them.

I am particularly interested in anything that may have been published on miniature aprons (2.5"-5") advertising sewing machines.  I have looked all over, but haven't able to find anything.  I finally wrote a short blurb for Paper & Advertising Marketplace, which they tell me has been published in the January 2011 issue.  I have not seen it yet.
