I will check out artfire...and am looking at efreeme right now.  I sell both Vintage and Hand Crafts so it might be a good match for me.  I have been trying Ruby Plaza, too but it costs to sell, and the fee may go up soon, and no sales there at all.  It's very depressing.  But I do NOT want to go back to eBay!

Yes Tom, that is true. I have heard of some doing very well there, and it gets depressing as I know I do the things they do, but am not getting the results that they are:(

Also, I have made a sale last night with ecrater, and my views have been getting A LOT better there too.

Dragoneflymoom......

I know always looking for the right places:) I thought of Amazon, but it would not work for the things I sell really. I know books is a big thing there with them. I have seen good about it there, and bad too.

Anyway, I have been selling at artfire with my vintage items....20+ yrs old. I opened shop in 2009, but never really became active with it till Oct of 2010 after seeing changes from time, and feeling more comfortable with them. I am getting great exposure there, hitting google searches pretty good..sometimes 1st page, I love working with some of the different things they have there.....listing an item, if you use a word that is not google friendly you get a red box to let you know which gives you a chance to correct it so that it can then be posted, I get my stats that show me the URL of the hits I am getting like with google, the find, and etc. My buttons are there for me to show my items to twitter & facebook after listing items in my store, the collections are really neat there that show on front page, and I have had much luck with correspondance there, much help through out the forums, and even the CEO has called a seller at home when they were having issues getting signed into their account. Tony kept calling & talking with them till they got the issue taken care of. How many sites have done that sort of thing?  No listing fee, no final value fees, I am a pro member there & pay a monthly fee. But, for what I have sold it has paid for my monthly fee every month now that I have become a pro member.

Also, artfire is now working on some changes that start on monday going live to better help with the vintage department. There are some kinks to work with it, the forums have been full with the likes & dislikes of how things are coming out, gonna be, and etc.....always happens when changes are made, right?:) But, I place good with google searches now, and if it maybe will help my placements more, I am going with the "flow" of things right now:) And, from what I have read it looks like it is only a start of plans they have made for this year. That is all that is known as this time:)

Lilacs...where else are you selling?  I am on 5 different sites, and so far doing 'ok' at Alibris and Biblio.  I have sold nothing at Bonanza.  I might try Amazon, but they are hard to work with.

I too had really high hopes for this place after leaving ebay. Been trying out different sites a little bit here & there, but always knowing that things are slow everywhere, and it can take a while to get established with places too. But, some things I have pulled from bonanza, put into another store, and they have slowly started selling with there. Then, last night I just had another sale, but with another store of mine.

Yes, I have supressed my google feeds to bonanza so I do not get in trouble with duplicating adds, but I am still getting views there too. They go way down, and then they come way up....just like it was done before supressing my google feeds.

Bonanza works great for some people, and that is good. But, I just have not had the luck there like I was sooo hoping for. I advertise, I admit my brand-stores to the search engines, I have back links to things with my blog..social sites...etc. But, I just cannot get it to where I want it to be, and of course is discouraging when I can make sales with other places I have not done as much with too:)

Good Luck to all & a Very Happy New Year to you! Let it be the best for us, prosperous, and most of all...let it be a better year with everything:)
