A good friend wants me to sell her 1959 Barbie which I think is very valuable. I’m hoping you experts here can provide any information including value. So much appreciated in advance . John

I'll post a link to ebay most recent SOLD results, but I'd like to first mention that it is the Original Clothing that is valuable! If your friend has any of the original clothing/outfits or accessories that one could get for that 1959 Barbie - then you will get a very good price for her sold with the clothing! As a rule, just the "pony tail" barbies - like this one go for under $100. Unless in pristine condition, etc.. 

The "mod hair" barbie brings a bit more - that's the fluffy, short bob cut that all the kids wanted back then. She had the same black and white bathing suit, just different hair do.
