I encourage any of the members of this group to start a discussion about Fifties items that you collect or items that you sell.

I think the Fifties Advertising Forum would be fun to participate in and I can certainly add some neat content.

Born in the 50s and love vintage 50s items. I have a collection of old advertisements from that time. My Daddy always bought Chevy---

I don't have too much in the way of 50's collectibles. But my husband and I have three old cars. Two of which are finished. One is a 1932 Ford 2 Dr. Sedan Hot Rod and the other is a 1932 Ford three window coupe Hotrod. We attend Back to the 50's car show in Minneapolis/St. Paul every year and have an absolute ball. Bernie, your 57 Chevy is my all time favorite year for Chevys. Love the body styling. My husband is building me a 1964 Beaumont Acadian convertible right now - each car has been a five year process so it won't be done for a while. If you are unfamiliar with that particular car - it is the Canadian version of a Chevelle. I look forward to getting to know you all. Sandi
