This 3-legged bowl is Pre-Columbian from South America. When they were made they put a pretty stone inside for good luck. When shaken, you can hear the rock rattling around. Sometimes those "pretty stones" were emeralds or rubies, but more often just a shiny piece of quartz or agate.

I have a load of things I would like advice on - some porcelain figures, old antique 'things', scissors etc. that belonged to my father in law from the early 20th century, old books, goodness knows what...I couldnt find a group for these type of things? could really do with some advice?

Check out bondandbowery.com It's a great new online website. Everything all in one place. No need to spend $5 a gallon on gas to drive. Easy to navigate and even easier to purchase!
