Hoping someone can help. My wife inherited this lamp from her mother and father. It was part of a set and cats saw fit to break one. I am hoping someone has one for sale or can point me in the direction as to what it was called on how I might search for a replacement. I know they are pretty old but I dont know their origin. I really just need the red glass top but would buy the whole lamp.
Any Help is appreciated.

HI RJ, Sorry to hear about your accident, that is always a bummer! As for age, probably 1920 to 1950s. The bases of the lamps are modeled after a "Garniture set" which would be a set of three items - usually a clock with two "Dusters or ? (Can't recall the other name for them" but they are generally very fancy glass or glass and metal, with the crystal glass prisms, and sometimes ornate enamel or ormolu work as well.
In your case, these are more in the "Boudoir Lamps" category, meant for end or side tables in a bedroom or a small parlor. The things that hang are called "prism or Crystals" and the shades are usually called "Chimney's" or sometimes just "Glass Shades". Your shade is also "etched", or "cut to clear".
Hope that helps ya!
