Hello! Sending a photo (sorry, it has stuff on top and in front) of a trunk that was purchased by a relative in San Francisco in 1985. The only repairs that needed to be made were the leather handles. My family member took the trunk to the Harband Leather Co. (still in business at that time) to have the leather handles replaced. The craftsman that replaced them was the Great Grandson of Julius Harband. Mr. Harband actually remembered (he was at this time in his 70's) this trunk as a child and helping his great grandfather with the placement of the design tacks. It still has the original key. This is an absolute beautiful piece of craftsmanship! The lid inside has a Star of David that I believe whomever purchased this trunk (originally) personalized it for their family. It currently is for sale in an antique store and I am searching for any ideas on how to value. The inside is in very good condition. Thanks for your expertise!
