Thank you so much for the link resource Tom! That's a lot of valuable information gathered :)

As for the tag it does say 12,000 but I looked up the currency because there is a symbol in front of the number and it seems to be Chinese Yuan which is weird because above that it says 'France.'

Elaine if your cuff links have no marks or purity shown they are not gold, probably just a gold wash. Value isn't much, maybe $5.00. Not much demand for them.

Eclectic, I think that price tag refers to Euros and 12,000 is about $12.48 USD. The comma is used in place of the decimal point. FOB is Paris which uses the Euros.

This company appears to have gone out of business in 1993. They have/had a USA representative.  Where it gives the owner's name it states ...nee...which means formerly known as. Link gives you a lot of info.

I have a set of cufflinks that I purchased from a general store in the early 1950's.  I am 75 now and purchased when I was about 15.  Two old ladies ran the store and they were in their 90's then.  I remember my mother saying that the items in their store were old and dusty, which brings me to this question.  Could there possibly be any worth to this set?  I tried to get some pics.  Hope you can make them out.IMG_2342.JPG

Can anyone give me any information on Antigona jewelry, namely this brooch? I just acquired it yesterday and am having issues appraising it correctly. There's not many pieces out there and what I've found has had varying price ranges.
