This is the 3rd doll that I purchased in a box lot at auction. She too has the IDEAL marking on her back. What's interesting is how her eyes move.. they open/close, but also look to the side, She comes with a wig, and measures apprx 14-3/4".
Wondering more about her.. time period she was made? Is the wig original to the doll or from another??

Your doll is called Flossie Flirt. She was made by Ideal circa 1924. Her picture matches the one in the Ideal books exactly! She is made of compostion head and limbs, cloth body, brown mohair wig, blue tin eyes, open mouth with three upper teeth, red dots inside nostrils. Her eyes would move side to side to look like she was flirting! Her dress looks original and maybe her shoes if they look old, it is hard to tell from the picture. If her wig, dress, and shoes are all origianl I would price her from $250 to $300. This doll looks to be in great condition The only thing I see missing is she probably had a matching bonnet.
