Can you tell us if she has any markings on the back of her neck?

Good Morning to everyone!!! I just joined the site not too long ago and have a question about a doll that was left in the house. I will attach a picture as well. I would like to find out how old this doll might be. She is one of the largest porcelain dolls I have seen. There are no cracks anywhere on her.

She is wonderful, especially since your family member took such time with the clothing. Sorry I can't help you with a maker. If she is plastic that makes the time frame late 30's or early 40's.

she looks like an early type of plastic or celluloid. She is only about 12 inches (at a guess) and I think her clothing was made by our dear departed great aunt, or another relative. There is so much detail in the sewing it seems to have been done with much love. Her little shoes are lace with bows on top, sewn onto felt soles. She is wearing knickerbocker bloomers. She's pretty stylish if I say so myself!

I've never seen a doll with that marking before. Talk about a wide range of places to be from! She is so cute!! Is she composition or hard plastic? How tall is she?

I love her Rhinestone crown! But afraid I don't know anything about this doll. Hope someone here can help you!
