Comment by Shirley Pheasant on February 4, 2012 at 12:26pm Thank you for the invitation. I love to seek out vintage board games at Estate and Yard sales; knowing they have been played with and enjoyed, sometimes by generations of families, is so much fun!
Thanks for the invite. I've got a friend that's been making a killing in buying and selling old board games.
I've also got a college kid that loves the old - and very difficult miliary style games - they are remaking them now, because of the resurgenge in popularity - go to thoughthammer.com It's amazing!
Remember Uncle Wiggily? In 1910, American writer Howard R. Garis created the character “Uncle Wiggily Longears” for a children’s book. Milton Bradley Company introduced the board game in 1916.
